LANAI® TWISTER™ HOT LIPS VERBENA

Verbena Lanai® Twister™ Hot Lips is a standout selection within the Lanai® series, celebrated for its vigorous, trailing habit and high-impact color. The blooms exhibit a distinct bicolor effect, featuring swirling patterns of vibrant rose-pink and crisp white, which creates a dynamic, "twisting" aesthetic that lives up to its name. Because of its consistent spreading habit, typically reaching 8 to 12 inches in height with a spread of up to 12-14 inches, it is an exceptional performer for hanging baskets, mixed patio containers, and window boxes, or as a colorful, low-growing carpet in landscape borders. It demonstrates impressive heat tolerance, ensuring the intense coloration remains vibrant and stable even as peak summer temperatures climb.

To achieve the best results, position this verbena in a location that receives full sun, ideally at least 6 to 8 hours daily. Well-draining, moderately fertile soil is non-negotiable, as Verbena species are highly susceptible to root rot if left in saturated, poorly aerated conditions. While it is noted for its superior mildew resistance compared to older cultivars, maintaining good airflow and consistent, but not excessive, moisture levels will keep the foliage lush and healthy.
