SUMMER SNOW CANADIAN HEMLOCK
The Tsuga canadensis 'Summer Snow' is commonly referred to as Summer Snow Canadian Hemlock. It is a fast-growing evergreen conifer with a broad conical form reaching 6-10 feet in 10 years. It features brilliant white new growth contrasted against dark green interior foliage. New growth matures to green during the growing season. Prune annually for best color and form.
Summer Snow Canadian Hemlock enjoys full to partial sun in evenly moist, acidic, well-drained soil. It is ideal as an under-story plant and useful to highlight shade gardens.
