BLUE KOREAN ARBORVITAE
Thuja koraiensis 'Glauca' is commonly referred to as Blue Korean Arborvitae. This bluish-green informal evergreen conifer features dusty blue foliage with bright white stomatal bands underneath the leaf. It is similar to C. nootkatensis with a mounding habit with scattered branches that droop randomly, but is unique for its silvery-white markings underneath the leaf.
Blue Korean Arborvitae thrives in full sun with some afternoon shade in hot climates. It enjoys average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It is intolerant of drought conditions.
