Zone: 5PEVE MINARET BALDCYPRESS
Taxodium distichum 'Peve Minaret' is commonly referred to as Peve Minaret Baldcypress or Peve Minaret Dwarf Swamp Cypress. It is an exceptional, rare, dwarf, deciduous conifer that grows slowly in a dense, pyramidal form. Its leaves have a feathery, fern-like texture and are bright green in spring, then pale green during summer, turning orange, yellow and tan in fall. Papery, chestnut-red bark and rich brown architectural branches add to its winter interest.
Peve Minaret Baldcypress thrives in full sun in deep, fine, loamy, acidic soils. It is ideal for mass plantings as an informal screen or as a landscape accent.

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in a location with full sun to partial shade, and ensure the soil is well-draining. Water regularly, but avoid overwatering. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Fertilize annually with a balanced fertilizer. Prune in late winter or early spring to maintain shape and promote healthy growth.
