BLOOMABLES® NEW AGE™ LAVENDER LILAC

Syringa vulgaris 'G13099' PP32,623 is commonly referred to as Bloomables® New Age™ Lavender Lilac. This beautiful lilac is part of the Bloomables® collection. It features a New Age for Lilacs with its super compact habit with excellent mildew resistance. Nothing, however, is small about its large, heavenly scented, lavender flowers in spring. Its foliage resists mildew and stays attractive through the growing season.

New Age™ Lavender thrives in rich, fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soils. Its flowers attract all the pollinators and are ideal for cutting.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: choose a location with full sun and well-draining soil, acknowledging that this 'New Age' series is specifically selected for its improved mildew resistance and more manageable, bushy habit. Maintain consistent soil moisture during the first year and apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer each spring. As with all vulgaris types, do not prune in late winter to avoid losing the spring display; perform any maintenance pruning immediately after the flowers fade.
