Syringa reticulata 'Williamette' is commonly referred to as Ivory Pillar™ Japanese Lilac Tree. Although not the pillar as the name implies, it is a decidedly more pyramidal form of the Japanese Tree Lilac. It features sweetly fragrant, creamy-white flowers produced on large panicles in early summer. Glossy, pointy green leaves are gorgeous against its flowers, and its smooth, steel-gray trunk adds additional seasonal interest.
Ivory Pillar™ Japanese Lilac Tree thrives in full sun in rich, fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soils.
