Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: select a planting area with full sun and moist, well-drained soil to support its exceptionally heavy flower production. This hybrid is celebrated for its massive clusters of pink blooms that nearly hide the foliage, so maintaining plant health with an early spring balanced fertilizer is key. To protect the developing flower buds, avoid any pruning during the late winter or early spring. Because it flowers on the previous year's growth, any pruning for size control or deadheading should be performed immediately after the spring flowering is complete to give the plant time to set next year's buds.
