PROUD BERRY® PEARL CORALBERRY

Proud Berry® Pearl Symphoricarpos x 'TW2' USPPAF, Can PBRAF is more commonly known as Proud Berry® Pearl Coralberry or Snowberry. It is a compact, low-growing deciduous shrub that turns heads in the late summer and fall when most other flowering plants begin to fade. It is specifically bred for its stunning, white berries that cluster densely along the stems, creating a dramatic, jewel-like effect that lasts well into the winter. Before the berry show begins, the plant features tidy, blue-green foliage and produces small, bell-shaped flowers in the summer. Its compact and upright habit makes it a perfect choice for adding structural interest to borders or for creating unique, berry-laden floral arrangements.

Proud Berry® Pearl Snowberry is relatively easy to care for. It is hardy and adaptable and can handle a variety of garden conditions. It performs best in full sun to partial shade, but keep in mind that more sunlight typically results in a heavier crop of those signature pink berries. It is not overly picky about soil type, though it thrives in well-draining soil with consistent, moderate moisture; it is particularly important to water regularly during its first year to establish its root system. To ensure the best berry display each year, it is recommended to prune the plant back by about one-third in late winter or early spring, as the berries are produced on "new wood" (the current season's growth).
