Styrax japonicus Nightfall™ is commonly referred to as Nightfall™ Snowbell. It is a dense, elegant weeping tree with a spreading, horizontal form It features refined, green and purple foliage and attractive white buds in late spring that open to creamy white, bell-shaped, fragrant flowers. In fall the leaves turn an attractive yellow-red.
Nightfall™ Snowbell thrives in full to partial sun in fertile, acidic, loamy, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It will benefit from shelter to harsh winds. Generally pest free and ideal as a specimen or along borders.
