APPLE SLICES INDIAN PINK

Spigelia marilandica 'Apple Slices' PPAF CPBRAF is more commonly known as Apple Slices Indian Pink. This showy native wildflower is a Proven Winners® selection that brings hummingbirds, butterflies and other pollinators to your yard. It features dark wine-red flowers from late spring to early summer.

Apple Slices Indian Pink is very hardy and easy to grow. It thrives in full sun in average, moist, well-drained soils. It can grow in partial sun but looks its best in full sun. It is self-cleaning, meaning old flowers fall off rather than die and dry on the stem. This native, woodland perennial is popular and highly sought after - it's a must if you want to attract hummingbirds to your garden. They love 'Apple Slices' and so do we!
