'Lemonjade' is distinguished by its sturdy, mounded habit and thick, succulent foliage in a soft gray-green shade. In late summer, it produces dense, flattened clusters of star-shaped flowers that emerge in a brilliant citron-yellow rather than the usual rose tones. As the blooms mature into fall, they transition into attractive peach-colored seed heads, providing a multi-layered color display that persists well into the cooler months.
For the best garden performance, plant Sedum 'Lemonjade' in a location that receives full sun, which ensures the strongest stems and the most prolific flowering. It is a rugged and drought-tolerant perennial that thrives in average to poor, well-drained soil; avoiding over-fertilization is key to maintaining its tidy, 15 to 18-inch height.
