Sedum 'Lemon' is a vibrant, low-growing stonecrop that adds a bright, electric splash of color to any garden setting. It is highly prized for its needle-like, succulent foliage that emerges in a brilliant chartreuse to lemon-yellow shade. Growing only a few inches tall, it forms a dense, spreading mat that remains luminous from early spring through the heat of summer. While its primary appeal is the high-visibility foliage, it occasionally produces small, star-shaped yellow flowers in mid-summer that blend seamlessly with the colorful leaves.
To maintain the most intense lemon-yellow color, plant Sedum 'Lemon' in a location that receives full sun. It is ideally suited for use as a high-contrast border along walkways, a colorful filler between stepping stones, or a vibrant "spiller" in mixed containers.
