Zone: 3ATLANTIS™ STONECROP
Sedum Atlantis™ is a striking, low-growing cultivar that is highly prized for its unique, variegated foliage. Each small, succulent leaf features a serrated edge and a wide, creamy-yellow border that surrounds a deep green center. This coloration is exceptionally stable and remains vibrant throughout the growing season, often taking on subtle pink tints as the weather cools in late autumn. In mid-to-late summer, Atlantis™ is topped with clusters of star-shaped yellow flowers that complement the bright foliage and attract a variety of pollinators.
For the best results, place Sedum Atlantis™ in a location that receives full sun to partial shade, as the bright light helps maintain the crisp variegation of the leaves. It is a tough, drought-tolerant plant that thrives in well-drained soil and requires very little supplemental water once it has established its root system.
In the landscape, its mounding habit makes it an ideal choice for the front of a border, a tuck-in for rock gardens, or a bright accent in mixed container displays. Maintenance is minimal; simply remove any spent flower heads if desired and clear away old foliage in early spring to make room for new growth.
