WHITE PROFUSION® SAGE
Salvia nemorosa White Profusion® is an outstanding addition to the Profusion® series, specifically bred for its incredible flower power and clean, architectural habit. Reaching a mature height of 18-24 inches, it is smothered in dense, bright white flower spikes that create a luminous effect in the garden from late spring through early summer. The pure white blooms are held on sturdy stems above a tidy mound of aromatic, green foliage. Because of its uniform growth and high flower-to-foliage ratio, White Profusion® is a top-tier choice for mass plantings, low hedges, or for adding a crisp contrast to darker-colored perennials in a sunny border.
Salvia 'White Profusion®' should be planted in a full-sun location with well-drained soil. It is celebrated for its impressive reblooming ability; once the initial flush of flowers begins to fade, shearing the plant back to its basal foliage will quickly stimulate a second round of bright white spikes for late summer interest. While it is quite drought-tolerant and heat-resistant once established, providing consistent moisture during the first growing season is key to developing a strong root system. In early spring, simply remove any dead stems from the previous year to make room for fresh new growth. Its natural resistance to deer and rabbits makes it a dependable, low-maintenance staple for any landscape.
