VERANDA® WHITE SHRUB ROSE

Rosa White Veranda® is a sophisticated floribunda that brings the elegance of a classic white rose to a compact, "veranda-sized" frame. It produces ivory to pure white, double blooms that are densely packed with petals, giving them a high-end, boutique appearance. The flowers emerge in small clusters and stand out beautifully against the plant's exceptionally dark, glossy green foliage. Reaching a tidy 2 feet in height and width, White Veranda® is an ideal candidate for patio containers, low borders, or small-scale urban landscapes where space is at a premium but high visual impact is required.

In terms of performance, White Veranda® is as sturdy as it is graceful, boasting excellent resistance to black spot and powdery mildew. It is a repeat bloomer that provides a steady supply of crisp, white flowers from late spring through the autumn months. It maintains a neat, bushy habit and requires very little maintenance other than a sunny location and a light pruning in early spring to encourage new growth. Its clean color and manageable size make it a perfect "neutral" for mixed plantings, where it can brighten up darker corners of a patio or garden bed.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in a location with at least 6 hours of direct sunlight. Ensure soil is well-draining. Water at the base (avoid getting leaves wet) to prevent fungal diseases. Prune in early spring. These are 'low-maintenance' roses. You can prune individually to shape, or, for large-scale mass plantings, you can use power shears to trim them back by one-third to encourage a flush of new, vigorous growth and continuous blooms.
