RIO SAMBA™ HYBRID TEA ROSE

Get ready for a garden party with the Rio Samba Hybrid Tea Rose (Rosa 'JACrite'). This extremely popular hybrid tea is a true showstopper with its blooms that dramatically change color as they mature. Imagine 5-inch, fully double flowers that unfurl a sunny golden yellow, dipped in fiery red at the edges. But the party doesn't stop there! As the bloom ages, the red streaks down the petals, transforming them into a vibrant mix of deep pink and orange hues. Its a carnival of color, just like the lively Rio Samba dance! Rio Samba doesn't just impress with its blooms - it also boasts dark green, glossy foliage and long, strong stems that are perfect for cutting and bringing the party indoors.

Plant your Rio Samba Rose in a sunny location with at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day. It enjoys nutrient-rich, evenly moist, well-drained soils and good air circulation.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in a location with at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight. Ensure soil is rich, well-draining, and amended with organic matter. Water at the base (avoid getting leaves wet) to prevent fungal diseases. Pruning: Prune in early spring, just as the buds begin to swell (but before leaves emerge). Remove all dead, damaged, or diseased wood, then trim healthy stems back to an outward-facing bud to open up the center of the plant for air circulation.
