Rosa 'John F. Kennedy' is a classic Hybrid Tea rose that exudes elegance and prestige, much like its namesake. It is celebrated for its exceptionally large, high-centered blooms that emerge from greenish-white buds into a pure, shimmering white. The flowers are composed of many thick, velvety petals and release a rich, licorice-like fragrance that can fill a garden space on a warm afternoon.
The ideal spot for 'John F. Kennedy' Rose is a location with full sun and excellent air circulation to maintain the health of its dark green, leathery foliage. As a Hybrid Tea, it features a tall, upright, and somewhat stately growth habit, typically reaching 3 to 4 feet in height. This makes it a perfect selection for the middle or back of a formal rose bed or as a striking vertical accent in a mixed border. The long, sturdy stems are ideal for cutting, allowing the pristine white blossoms to be enjoyed in high-quality floral arrangements. To ensure the largest and most frequent blooms throughout the season, plant in rich, well-drained soil and provide regular deep watering and fertilization.
