HONEY DIJON™ GRANDIFLORA ROSE

Rosa Honey Dijon™ is a truly unique Grandiflora rose that captivates with its rare and sophisticated color palette. The blooms are a stunning shade of warm, golden-tan to warm beige, reminiscent of the specialty mustard for which it is named. As the flowers mature, they often develop a subtle pink blush at the petal edges, adding further depth to their antique appearance. These large, high-centered blossoms are held on long, sturdy stems and emit a moderate, sweet, and spicy fragrance.

The ideal spot for Honey Dijon™ is a location in full sun with fertile, well-drained soil. Because it is a Grandiflora, it features a vigorous, upright growth habit that makes it a standout choice for the back of a border or as a dramatic focal point in the landscape. The foliage is a deep, semi-glossy green, providing a classic backdrop that allows the unusual "honey" tones of the flowers to pop. Honey Dijon™ is particularly prized by floral designers for its exceptional vase life and its trend-setting color, which is a departure from more traditional rose hues.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in a location with at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight. Ensure soil is rich, well-draining, and amended with organic matter. Water at the base (avoid getting leaves wet) to prevent fungal diseases. Pruning: Prune in early spring, just as the buds begin to swell (but before leaves emerge). Remove all dead, damaged, or diseased wood, then trim healthy stems back to an outward-facing bud to open up the center of the plant for air circulation.
