DRIFT® SCARLET GROUNDCOVER ROSE
Rosa Scarlet Drift® is a remarkable groundcover rose that combines the toughness of a miniature rose with the sprawling habit of a landscape shifter. It is celebrated for its prolific clusters of deep, authentic red blooms that maintain their vibrancy throughout the entire growing season. Reaching only about 18-24 inches in height and 2-3 feet in width, it creates a lush carpet of glossy, dark green foliage that provides a sophisticated backdrop for its fiery flowers. It is particularly valued for its exceptional disease resistance and "self-cleaning" nature, making it a low-maintenance favorite for gardeners who want high-impact color without the constant upkeep of traditional tea roses.
For optimal growth, plant your Scarlet Drift® rose in a spot that receives at least six to eight hours of direct sunlight daily to ensure maximum flower production. It thrives in well-draining soil and, while impressively drought-tolerant once established, it prefers a consistent watering schedule - ideally at the base of the plant to keep the leaves dry. Its compact, spreading habit makes it an ideal choice for the front of garden borders, sloping banks, or even decorative patio containers where it can gracefully spill over the edges.
