The Aristocrat Pear is also known as the Callery Pear. It is a dense, pyramidal, deciduous tree with a strong central leader. It has glossy, heart-shaped leaves that turn an attractive orange in fall. Spring flowers are clusters of white with purple anthers. Fruits are showy yellow pomes in late summer.
The Aristocrat Ornamental Pear thrives in full sun in average to moist, well-drained soils. It is tolerant to urban pollution and will thrive in city environments.
