TETON FIRETHORN
Pyracantha coccinea 'Teton' is commonly referred to as Teton Firethorn is an evergreen shrub with a unique upright, spreading habit with stiff branches. This thorny selection grows 10 feet tall with a 6 foot spread and features white flowers in the late spring and orange-red berries in late summer and early fall attracting honeybees and butterflies. Bright and colorful berries are pea-sized and cover its branches, making a nice contrast to the shiny, dark evergreen leaves. They also bring in all the birds!
Teton Firethorn is deer resistant and thrives in full sun to partial shade in well-drained soils. It is ideal for barrier or screen plantings.
