Pyracantha x 'Mohave' is commonly referred to as Mohave Pyracantha or Mohave Firethorn. It is noteworthy for its heavy crop of vivid red-orange berries in fall. It features glossy, dark green foliage with upright, thorny branches and clusters of white flowers in spring. Following the flowers are bright red-orange berries in early fall that persist into winter. It produces berries earlier than other varieties.
Mohave Pyracantha thrives in full sun to partial shade in well-drained soils. It is ideal for barrier or screen plantings.
