YUKON BELLE FIRETHORN


Pyracantha angustifolia 'Monon' is commonly referred to as Yukon Belle® Pyracantha or Yukon Belle® Firethorn. It is a hardy, thorny, semi-evergreen, shrub with bright orange berries that has fantastic mid-winter color and provides a special treat for hungry winter birds. In spring it produces glossy, deep green leaves and clusters of white flowers.

Yukon Belle® Firethorn is easy to grow and very hardy. It thrives in full sun to partial shade in slightly acidic, well-drained soils. It will not tolerant consistently wet conditions. It can be drought tolerant once established and thrive in city environments. It is ideal for hedge, screen, or barrier plantings.
