EXCLAMATION™ LONDON PLANETREE
The Exclamation!™ London Planetree is a hybrid cross between Platanus occidentalis (American Sycamore) and the Platanus orientalis (Oriental Sycamore). It is an upright, pyramidal deciduous shade tree that is noteworthy for its attractive exfoliating bark at an early age. The bark has shades of green, tan and brown that peels to reveal a creamy white bark underneath. In fall glossy green foliage turns a bright yellow. This selection is a Chicagoland Grows® introduction that is resistant to anthracnose and frost cracking.
The Exclamation!™ London Planetree thrives in full sun (6 hours of direct light daily). It will tolerate alkaline and clay soil and even road salt, however, it enjoys moist, well-drained soils. It is ideal for city parkways, residential and parks.

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant it in a location with full sun to partial shade. Water it regularly, but avoid overwatering, which can lead to root rot. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds.
