WATES GOLDEN SCRUB PINE


Pinus virginiana 'Wate's Golden' is commonly referred to as the Wate's Golden Gold Scrub Pine. It is a slow growing, upright, pyramidal conifer with golden-yellow needles in winter and green in summer.

The Wate's Golden' is easy to grow and thrives in average, moist, well-drained soil in full sun. It can tolerate both heavy clay and poor soils as long as they are well-drained.
