GREEN TWIST WHITE PINE

Pinus strobus 'Green Twist' is more commonly referred to as Green Twist White Pine. It is a dwarf, mounding evergreen conifer with attractive bluish-green twisted, curling needles. It was found as a witch's broom on Pinus strobus 'Contorta' at the Bickelhaupt Arboretum in Iowa. It is one of the smallest dwarf white pines, reaching only 3 feet in height and width in 10 years.

Green Twist White Pine is easy to grow and will cope well with low winter temperatures and high wind areas. It thrives in full sun in fertile, slightly acidic, well-drained soil. Great verticillium wilt resistance.
