WEEPING WHITE PINE

Pinus strobus 'Angel Falls' is commonly referred to Angel Falls Eastern White Pine. This unusual, elegant conifer is named after the world's largest waterfall in Venezuela, and is a beautiful selection with a weeping, and more dense, habit than the Pinus strobus 'Pendula'. It has extraordinary long, narrow, blue-green needles that have a nice, fine texture. This variety has a low canopy with a typical clearance of 2 feet from the ground.

Angel Falls White Pine is a very hardy tree that thrives in full sun and well-drained soils.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining soil with a slightly acidic pH. Water regularly, but avoid overwatering. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Fertilize annually with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer. Prune in late winter or early spring to maintain shape and promote healthy growth.
