BLUE DWARF JAPANESE STONE PINE
Pinus pumila 'Dwarf Blue' is commonly referred to as the Dwarf Siberian Pine or Japanese Stone Pine. It is a compact spreading pine with an upright branching habit. It features soft silvery blue-green needles and immature purple-violet seed cones that mature to reddish brown. It is a slow-growing cultivar that can get 2-3 feet tall with a spread of 7 feet.
The Dwarf Siberian Pine should only be grown in full sun with well-drained soil. It will not tolerate standing water. It is somewhat tolerant of urban pollution.
