TEMPELHOF JAPANESE WHITE PINE
Pinus parviflora 'Tempelhof' is commonly referred to as Tempelhof Japanese White Pine. It is dense, broadly pyramidal evergreen tree that will mature at 40 feet tall with the same spread. It features attractive steel blue needles that remain true to color throughout winter. Its fine texture sets it apart from other landscape plants.
Tempelhof Japanese White Pine should only be grown in full sun. It thrives in average moisture in very well-drained soils. It will not tolerate standing water and is considered drought tolerant once it is established. It is somewhat tolerant of urban pollution and environmental salt and can thrive in city environments.
