LA CABANA MUGO PINE
Pinus mugo 'La Cabana' is commonly referred to as La Cabana Mugo Swiss Mountain Pine Tree. This super hardy Mugo Pine evergreen conifer grows up to 15 feet tall with a 12 foot spread. It has a sturdy, broad pyramidal habit. It features thick green bundled needles and fat resinous buds. Needles remain dark green throughout the winter months.
La Cabana Mugo Pine thrives in full sun in loamy, sandy, evenly moist, well-draining soils. It is ideal in home landscapes as an accent or low windbreak. It also makes a great choice for pruning into a Hindu Pan form for those in harsh, colder climates.
