BOSNIAN PINE

Pinus heldreichii (leucodermis) 'Emerald Arrow' is commonly referred to as the Emerald Arrow Bosnian Pine. A splendid pine that gives the appearance of being much larger than it actually is. It has a narrow, refined pyramidal form growing 15 feet with a spread of about 8 feet. It features a narrow, upright habit and is great for tight spaces. It has emerald green needles that stay true through winter. Its rough brown bark adds additional interest.

Emerald Arrow Bosnian Pine should only be grown in full sun. It prefers average moisture levels and well-drained soils. It will not tolerate standing water. It can become somewhat drought tolerant once established. It can tolerate urban pollution and can thrive in city environments.
