Zone: 3BLUE BALL KOREAN PINE
Pinus koraiensis 'Blue Ball' is commonly referred to as the Blue Ball Korean Pine. This hardy and adaptable dwarf, globose, witch's broom selection has short, stiff branches and long blue needles with a touch of green. It is an excellent choice for rock gardens and smaller specialty gardens due to its compact, slow growth.
Blue Ball Korean Pine enjoys well-drained, loamy soils in full sun. It will not tolerate standing water. It is, however, quite tolerant of cold winters - winter hardy to USDA Zone 3. It is tolerant of urban pollution and can thrive in city environments.

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in full sun to partial shade with well-draining soil. Water regularly, but avoid overwatering. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Fertilize annually with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer. Prune in late winter or early spring to maintain shape and promote healthy growth.
