Pinus densiflora 'Golden Ghost' is a semi-dwarf, dense, slow growing evergreen tree. It features long, slender, light green needles that have circular yellow bands on them. It creates a shimmery effect which is quite striking. The orange-red stems that are characteristic of densiflora add to the overall color show. This bright color contrast stays through autumn.
Dragon's Eye Japanese Red Pine enjoys full sun in slightly acidic, well-drained soils. It is drought tolerant once established.
