POODLE PINE SHORE PINE
Pinus contorta 'Poodle Pine' is commonly referred to as Poodle Pine Contorted Shore Pine. It is a unique pine that is usually pruned and trained horizontally to have a windswept look for a Hindu-pan or layered 'poodle' form. It has dense, green foliage and grows 3-6 inches per year. Height is dependent on pruning technique.
Poodle Pine Show Pine thrives in full sun in average to dry, well-drained soils. It makes a striking and quite showy specimen and topiary.
