WEEPING COLORADO BLUE SPRUCE
Picea pungens 'The Blues' is commonly referred to as The Blues Blue Spruce. This is a unique, strongly weeping Colorado blue spruce that has a beautiful cascading waterfall effect in the landscape. Staked to desired height, its branches fall and flow to the ground in a pool of silvery blue foliage. It creates a striking focal point in the landscape.
The Blues Blue Spruce thrives in full sun in evenly moist, slightly acidic, well-drained soils. It is considered drought tolerant once established. It is tolerant of urban pollution and can thrive in city environments. It struggles in the deep southern heat and performs best in cooler climates.
