WEEPING COLORADO BLUE SPRUCE

Picea glauca 'Pendula' is commonly referred to as the Weeping White Spruce. It is a narrow-upright, conical form of white spruce with a central leader and glaucous blue needles on pendulous branches that weep down creating a layered look.

The Weeping White Spruce enjoys full sun in evenly moist, slightly acidic, well-drained soils. It can be considered drought tolerant once established.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in a location with full sun to partial shade. Water regularly, but avoid overwatering. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Fertilize annually with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer. Prune in late winter or early spring to maintain shape and promote healthy growth.
