COLORADO BLUE SPRUCE

Picea pungens 'Glauca' is commonly referred to as the Colorado Blue Spruce. It has a beautiful pyramidal form with tiered branches densely covered with steel blue needles. It is often utilized as a Christmas tree.

Colorado Blue Spruce prefers full sun in rich, moist, well-drained soils. It is drought tolerant once established. It appreciates cooler climates rather than high heat and humidity.
