BABY BLUE BLUE SPRUCE
Picea pungens 'Baby Blue' is commonly referred to as the Baby Blue Spruce. This showy specimen enjoys cooler climates and features dramatic silvery-blue needles on a tighter, more compact, pyramidal form. Horizontal branches reach down to the ground and cones are produced in late summer.
Baby Blue Spruce enjoys full sun in evenly moist, slightly acidic, well-drained soils. It is drought tolerant once established and can tolerate urban pollution and thrive in city environments. It is ideal as a hedge or a focal point in the landscape.
