BUSHS LACE ENGELMANN SPRUCE

Picea engelmannii 'Bush's Lace' is commonly referred to as Bush's Lace Engelmann Spruce. This showy, stately evergreen conifer features a vigorous, broad upright growth habit with a strong central leader with irregular branches that extend out before drooping downward.

Bush's Lace Engelmann Spruce adapts well to cool, windy areas because of its Rocky Mountain native habitat. It thrives in full sun in slightly acidic, evenly moist, well-drained soils.

Planting Tips ⓘ

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining soil with a slightly acidic pH. Water regularly, but avoid overwatering. Prune in late winter or early spring to maintain shape and promote healthy growth. Add a layer of organic mulch to retain moisture and suppress weeds.
