Picea abies 'Hillside Upright' is commonly known as the Hillside Upright Norway Spruce. It is a conifer with a narrow upright, pyramidal form. This is an elegant and beautiful spruce with irregular branching and dark green needles over rust colored stems.
The Hillside Upright thrives in full sun in average to moist, well-drained soils. It tolerates urban pollution and can thrive in city environments.
