Phlox paniculata 'Fireworks' is a show-stopping Garden Phlox that lives up to its name with a spectacular, multi-toned floral display. Each flower head is a dense cluster of white blossoms that are heavily feathered and streaked with vibrant cherry-pink and lavender, creating a "burst" of color that mimics a pyrotechnic explosion. Growing to a mid-range height of about 18 to 24 inches, it is particularly valued for its strong, upright stems and excellent resistance to powdery mildew, ensuring that its glossy green foliage remains a clean and attractive backdrop for the fragrant blooms from mid-summer through early autumn.
The ideal spot for 'Fireworks' Phlox is a location that receives full sun to very light dappled shade, which helps maintain the sharp contrast of its bi-color petals and promotes the most prolific flowering.
