Zone: 4CANDY STORE™ CORAL CREME DROP™ GARDEN PHLOX
Phlox paniculata Coral Creme Drop™ is a vibrant member of the Candy Store™ series, specifically bred for its compact habit and intense color. It produces large, sugary-sweet fragrant clusters of deep coral-pink flowers, each accented by a dark pink eye that adds depth to the bloom. Growing to a manageable height of 18 to 24 inches, it features thick, dark green foliage that provides a sturdy and attractive base for the mid-to-late summer floral display, making it a favorite for attracting butterflies and hummingbirds to the garden.
The ideal spot for Coral Creme Drop™ Phlox is a location in full sun to very light dappled shade where it can receive at least six hours of direct light daily to maintain its vivid coral hue. It thrives in rich, moist, and well-drained soil that has been amended with organic matter. To keep Coral Creme Drop™ performing its best, ensure it has plenty of air circulation to take full advantage of its natural mildew resistance, and provide consistent water at the base of the plant during dry spells. Deadheading the spent flower panicles will maintain a neat appearance and may encourage a secondary flush of blooms later in the season.
