PEARLS OF PERFUME™ MOCKORANGE

The Philadelphus Pearls of Perfume™ is a modern, compact variety of mock orange celebrated for its incredible fragrance and unique blooming habit. Unlike traditional mock oranges that only flower once on old wood, Pearls of Perfume™ produces large, double, pure-white blossoms on both old and new wood. This means you get a spectacular primary show in late spring, followed by sporadic reblooming from summer into fall. The scent is its hallmark - a potent, heady aroma reminiscent of orange blossoms and jasmine that can easily fill an entire corner of your garden.

Pearls of Perfume™ is notably disease-resistant and adaptable to various soil types, including clay and alkaline mixes, provided they are well-drained. It thrives in full sun to partial shade; however, a spot with at least six hours of sunlight will ensure the most prolific blooms. Because it reaches a manageable size of about 4 feet tall, it is ideal for planting near high-traffic outdoor areas like patios, porches, or along walkways where its perfume can be fully appreciated. It also performs beautifully in large containers on a sunny deck or as a fragrant low hedge.
