Pennisetum alopecuroides 'Lemon Squeeze' is commonly referred to as Lemon Squeeze Fountain Grass. This striking ornamental grass features bright gold foliage with copper panicles that appear above the foliage in midsummer and provide added interest through the growing season and beyond.

This variety is a hardy, reliable perennial that will return year after year in our region. It is prized for its graceful, arching foliage and soft, bottlebrush-like plumes that provide significant textural interest from summer into autumn. It performs best with consistent moisture and excellent drainage. Cut the foliage back to the ground in late winter or early spring to encourage fresh growth for the new season.
