This shorter ornamental switch grass has dense, upright growing gray-green leaves. It produces rosy pink panicles in early fall. This Proven Winners® selection works well as erosion control, screening, and looks perfect alongside ponds or streams. It also makes an impact in containers. The Apache Rose is salt and drought tolerant and deer resistant. It adds graceful movement to the garden.
