Zone: 6GOSHIKI FALSE HOLLY
Osmanthus heterophyllus 'Goshiki' is commonly referred to as Goshiki False Holly, Goshiki Holly Olive, or Chinese Holly. This slow-growing evergreen shrub has a compact habit and showy variegated spiky, holly-like foliage that emerges pink in spring and turns a variegated creamy white and bronze as the season unfolds. Clusters of small, fragrant white flowers appear in late summer and are often hidden by its foliage.
Goshiki False Holly is disease resistant and thrives in full sun to partial shade in rich, moist, well-drained soils. It benefits from dappled sun in hot summer climates. It can be drought tolerant once established.
