UNDAUNTED® MUHLY GRASS
Muhlenbergia reverchonii 'PUND01S' Undaunted® is commonly referred to as Undaunted® Muhly Grass. It was discovered as a seedling of Muhlenbergia reverchonii 'Autumn Embers'. It is a compact, heat tolerant, native selection that will reach 2 feet with an equal spread. Late summer provides an impressive display of soft, see-through pink flowering plumes. It is much more cold hardy and blooms earlier than M. capillaris.
Undaunted™ Muhly Grass is easy to grow and deer resistant. It thrives in full sun in sandy, clay, well-drained soils.

To help Muhlenbergia settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in full sun in lean, well-draining soil. They are highly drought-tolerant once established and perform best when kept on the drier side; ensure the planting site has excellent drainage, as they are susceptible to crown rot if allowed to sit in cold, wet soil. In late winter or early spring, cut the foliage back to the ground to refresh the plant for the upcoming season.
