MISS GRACE DAWN REDWOOD
Metasequoia glyptostroboides 'Miss Grace' is commonly referred to as Miss Grace Dawn Redwood. It is noteworthy for being the first Metasequoia cultivar with strong, weeping branches. This deciduous tree is a beautiful living sculpture with naturally arching branches. Its small gray-green needles that resemble Taxodium, and thin branches weep gracefully and in fall its foliage turns attractive shades of yellow, orange and red. Peeling red bark adds to winter interest.
Miss Grace Dawn Redwood thrives in full sun in rich, fertile, slightly acidic, moist, well-drained soils.
