RASPBERRY SPEAR™ CRABAPPLE
So you would like a crabapple for a tight spot, however a traditional crabapple will not fit. Enter the Raspberry Spear™ with its narrow, columnar habit that is perfect for tight spots. The Raspberry Spear™ has deep pink buds that open to bright pink flowers. Bright red fruit follow the flowers in fall and persist into winter which the birds love. Leaves emerge dark purple and later take on a bronze and orange hue in late summer and fall.
Raspberry Spear™ enjoys full sun and rich, moist, well-drained soils. This is a great, disease resistant tree and will work well where other crabapples just will not fit.
