MANDARIN HONEYSUCKLE
Lonicera 'Mandarin' PP11083 is commonly referred to as Mandarin Honeysuckle. It is a hybrid Honeysuckle flowering vine that is a cross between Lonicera tragophylla (Chinese) and Lonicera 'brownie'. The result is very showy clusters of fragrant mandarin orange tubular blooms with yellow throats that last from late June to early fall. Flowers attract hummingbirds and other beneficial pollinators and provide a lush, tropical feel to its surroundings. Foliage emerges coppery-purple and turns green in summer.
Mandarin Honeysuckle is a vigorous, sterile, non-invasive vine that does not reseed. It is ideal for arbors and fences.
